“The CIRCLE Study”

Mr Mahi Muqit at Moorfields Eye Hospital has been selected as the UK Chief Investigator for a global, industry-sponsored clinical trial of chemical vitreolysis and the potential prevention of proliferative diabetic retinopathy.

This is a Phase 2 randomised, double masked, sham controlled, multi-centre study to evaluate intravitreal Ocriplasmin/Jetrea in diabetic patients.

Mahi Muqit is organising and chairing the “VR in a Day 2016 Meeting” for Moorfields Eye Hospital.

This educational course is aimed at aspiring VR surgeons, junior doctors, general ophthalmologists, optometrists, and nurses who would like a comprehensive update on Vitreoretinal Surgery. Speakers from the across the UK and Moorfields will be speaking on the key topics at this renowned VR course to be held in London, April 15th 2016.
